What would you like to see on a development board?

I have the capability now to build up PCB's without the 'overhead' of a contract manufacturer and would like to build up some boards for us enthusiasts which we could use to promote Ada in real controller applications.

Requirements are that we have a readily available compiler. Ideally one based on the FSF branch, although the Adacore branch would be fine but would definitely limit to open source projects.

Second would be the interfaces to control real things (such as lamps, motors, actuators etc.) So perhaps some medium current low-side outputs.

Measurement? Perhaps some 4-20mA (or 0-10V) inputs?

Operator interface? Limit switches? So some number of switch/digital inputs.

Communications? CAN? RS 485?

Power supply? 8-32Vdc?

Let me know your thoughts and hopefully we can design a "AdaForMicrocontrollers" board that can be used to control some real stuff!
